Services Provided

  • As young adults go through transition after transition, feeling both liberated and untethered, both independent and overwhelmed — it can be incredibly helpful to have a therapist through it all. Through the use of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy as well as psychoeducation, Sarah helps young adults find their footing and build healthy relationships with their bodies and minds.

  • With adulthood comes a feeling of time flying by, with years feeling like months and months like days. Slowing down enough to find peace or ease can therefore feel impossible at times. Sarah leans on the tenets of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in order to help people find meaning, purpose and balance in their lives.

  • Although each family is incredibly unique, with a unique history, context, dynamic and connection — some things are universal. We all need love and understanding and, in order to get these needs met, families require both communication and emotion regulation skills. Sarah uses psychoeducation, mindfulness-based principles and practices, and facilitated discussions and activities in order to help children, adolescents and families achieve a sense of well-being and connectedness at home and beyond.

  • If you are grieving, it can only help to do so with another. Sometimes that’s not possible or sometimes your loss feels un-shareable with those around you. That is what therapy is for. We can talk life and death, wrestle with faith and the universe, or simply remember. Sarah will walk with you side by side through it all.
